Auburn Women’s Volleyball

Auburn Women’s Volleyball has been a cornerstone of Auburn University athletics since its establishment in 1974, consistently demonstrating leadership and competitiveness in collegiate volleyball. Under the guidance of Head Coach Brent Crouch, the team has continued to grow in performance and reputation.

This semester, our work with Auburn Women’s Volleyball will focus on discovering ways to increase game-day attendance among students, alumni, and Auburn city residents. College athletics play a vital role in campus culture, extending engagement beyond the classroom. While popular programs like football and basketball consistently draw large crowds, smaller sports such as volleyball face challenges in attendance despite ongoing engagement efforts. Through research-supported strategies, our goal is to identify ways to enhance student and community involvement, amplify fan engagement, and strengthen the connection between Auburn Women’s Volleyball and its audience.
