Mae Shaw
Hello! My name is Mae Shaw, and I am a senior public relations major from Birmingham, Alabama. I serve as the Creative Director and Account Coordinator for Parallel PR, where I lead the creative direction of our work while also acting as the primary point of contact between our team and our clients.
My professional experience spans a variety of fast-paced, relationship-driven environments, including internships with Auburn Athletics, guest services roles in Colorado and Canada, serving as Marketing Director for my sorority, and working on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. this summer. These opportunities have strengthened my ability to blend strategy with creativity while communicating clearly across diverse audiences and professional settings.
At the core of my work is a strong belief in the power of relationships. For the past three years, I have served on a Young Life team in Auburn, which has shaped my service-driven mindset and taught me the value of consistency, trust, and intentional connection. I prioritize truly getting to know each client, understanding what matters most to them, and anticipating their needs before challenges arise. Through thoughtful communication and aligned creative execution, I strive to help clients feel seen, supported, and confident in the work we deliver together.
Mercy Vandyke
I’m a senior majoring in public relations with a minor in marketing. As the social media strategist for Parallel PR, I am responsible for developing and implementing social media strategies for our clients, as well as monitoring their progress across all platforms. During my recent PR and social media internship with VKTORI Clothing, I worked on campaign development, including the Packing Light with VKTORI project, while creating social media content and tracking performance metrics. Last month, I accepted a publicist role with Publicity For Good in Nashville, where I am gaining experience in pitching, press outreach, client management, and media training. Outside of work, I love staying creative through painting, floral design, and baking.
Georgia Krodel
Hello! My name is Georgia Krodel, and I serve as the editor at Parallel PR, where I oversee all written content and am responsible for editing and proofing across the organization. As a grammar enthusiast, I bring a strong attention to detail and a love for editing and writing that extends beyond my role and into my everyday life. I was born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and came to Auburn in 2022, where I am currently pursuing degrees in public relations and political science. My studies reflect my passion for interpersonal communication, creativity, problem-solving, and writing. I place a high value on investing in the people and communities around me and believe strongly in doing life alongside others, truly in parallel. This mindset has shaped my involvement in Project Uplift, student government and campus ministry. I look forward to collaborating closely with our clients to deliver thoughtful, impactful work that supports a stronger community.
Lani Moore
Hi! My name is Lani Moore and I am a senior Public Relations major at Auburn University. I am the Agency Director for Parallel PR and am in charge of scheduling and coordinating meetings for all of our projects. I prioritize doing a job well and making sure our clients feel seen throughout our time working with them. Being able to invest in what is around me is something I find value in whether it be my job, friends, college ministry or my campus as a whole. I am excited to work alongside you and help bring your vision to life.
